Pashupatinath temple is the largest and holiest shrines for Hindus.This temple, situated on the bank of Bagmati river wasbuiltinthe5thcenturyTherearearound492temples, 15 Shivalayas (shrines of Lord Shiva) and 12 Jyotirlinga (phallic shrines) to explore. No entrance fee is charged for SAARC nationals to enter the temple. Although only Hindus are allowed to enter the temple, visitors can clearly see the temple and the activities performed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river.

Situated at the height of 1100 meters, commonly known as Shanti, the World Peace Stupa located on the Anadu Hill of Pumdi Bhumdi Village is a special Buddhist monument. It was built by Nipponzan-Myōhōji monk Morioka Sonin with local supporters under the guidance of Nichidatsu Fujii, a Buddhist monk and the founder of Nipponzan-Myōhōji. Shanti,the Sanskrit word that doesmean peace, also widely used in the Nepali and Hindi languages, indicates Peace Pagoda as it was built as a symbol of peace. One can see the total ranges of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna including the beautiful peak Machhapuchhere, the Fishtail.
Seti River is famous for its deceptive river course and its milky white water. The water cuts a deep gorge right across the mighty Mahabharata range and then runs a deep chasm in the middle of the town. The gorge can be seen from a park in the Old pokhara close to the Gorkha Museum.
The temple of Bindhyabasini is the oldest in the city of Pokhara, Nepal and is situated in WardNo.2, Miruwa. It regularly attracts many local Nepalese from across the region, as well as foreigners. The principal temple is devoted to goddess Bindhyabasini, a Bhagawati who is believed to be Goddess Kali’s incarnation. Smaller temples are with in the temple premises which are dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, Shiva, Ganesha and Hanuman.

Phewa Lake is a freshwater lake, located in the city of Pokhara in Nepal. It is the second largest lake in Nepal. The crystal clear water of the lake reflects the Annapurna ranges and Mount Machhapuchhare, lending tourists with a most breathtaking view.
The lake has a temple in its center, natively called Barahi Mandir.Thisis situated onanislandin thelake. Thepagoda- style temple is unique in its structure and setting. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and can be reached by boat. Boating is one of the main tourist attractions here. The lakesideisperfect for a boat ridein a quiet afternoon with the Himalayan ranges as a backdrop.
David’s fallsis an amazing waterfall in Pokhara Valley which is nearly 500 feet long and runs 100 feet below ground level. It is also known as Patale Chhango which means the underwater world. According to local old people, On 31stJuly 1961, a swiss couple Davi went swimming but the woman drowned in a pit. Since that day the place is known as David’s falls.
Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is one of the longest caves in Nepal is nearly 3km long. There are some walls dripping water inside the cave and about 40m in, we can see the statue of Lord Shiva. Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is near David’s falls.

Located in the heart of old Patan city, the Patan Durbar Square is a quadrangle filled with several temples, palaces, and courtyards.Mostofthestructuresdate backtotheMalla era. Patan Palace, which nowhousesa museum, used to be the royal residence of the Malla kings ruling over Patan. Surrounding the royal palace are the octagonal Chyasin Dewal, Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Temple, Hiranyavarna Mahavihar (Golden Temple), etc. Inside the Patan Palace is courtyards (Keshav Narayan Chowk, Sundari Chowk, and Mul Chowk) with gilded doorways and decorative stonebaths and wells.
Swayambhunath is one of the most glorious, holiest and oldest Stupa in the world. It is Located on a small hillock in west Kathmandu hence commands an excellent view of the valley. The stupa was built in 460 A.D. by King Manadeva, is also known by the name “Monkey Temple”.
